Get Involved

Time, money, contacts, or a spare room in your calendar.

There's more than one way to help a small charity punch above its weight.

01 · Volunteer

Join the 20 people already doing this.

Our volunteers assess requests for help, liaise with housing associations, and keep the charity's day-to-day work moving. No special qualifications needed — just reliability and care.

Ask about volunteering
Time commitment
As little as a few hours a month — tell us what you can offer.
What you'll do
Casework support, admin, local outreach, or event help depending on your interests.
Vetting
Because our work involves vulnerable people, some roles require a DBS check under our safeguarding policy.

02 · Fundraise

Run, bake, host, or ask.

Whether it's a sponsored walk, a collection at your workplace, or a birthday fundraiser, every fundraising event you run stays true to the Fundraising Regulator's Code of Fundraising Practice.

Materials
We can provide collection buckets, a short talk, or printed materials for your event.
Gift Aid
If your supporters are UK taxpayers, we can claim an extra 25% on sponsorship at no cost to them.

03 · Give in kind

Some of what we need isn't money.

Warm clothing, toiletries, and household starter kits for people moving into a first tenancy are always useful. Get in touch before dropping items off so we can make sure it matches current need.

Currently needed
Contact us for an up-to-date list — needs change week to week.
Drop-off
By arrangement only, at our Leicester office.

04 · Corporate partners

Payroll giving, sponsorship, or a matched-giving scheme.

If your business wants a local partner in Leicester, we can talk through options that fit your size and budget — from a one-off sponsorship to an ongoing partnership.

If you need help

You don't need to have it all figured out first.

If you're homeless, at risk of losing your home, or living somewhere unsafe, contact us and we'll talk through what we can do — whether that's direct support or a referral to a housing association we work with.
