GFY Shelters relieves hardship and distress among homeless people and those living in adverse housing conditions — irrespective of colour, creed or class.
Hover a window — each one is a small, real way we help.
We keep our overheads low and put what we raise straight into three practical areas of work.
Food, essentials and cash grants for people facing sudden hardship or homelessness, delivered quickly and without red tape.
Practical help for people living in unsafe or unsuitable housing — from tenancy deposits to advocacy with landlords and councils.
We make grants available to housing associations and other charitable bodies working toward the same goal, so good work isn't held back by funding gaps.
Thank you to everyone who came to our community fundraising event — an evening of live performances, with food included in the ticket price, in support of our work relieving homelessness and hardship in Leicester. Funds raised through ticket sales and on-the-night donations go directly toward emergency relief and housing support.

Whatever you can offer — a one-off gift, a regular volunteer shift, or an introduction to a local business — it goes straight to work.
